Our Programs

CHIC works towards our objectives through four primary programs: education programs, workforce development programs, reentry programs, and family and community engagement.

IMPACT YOUTH

CHIC Education

CHIC education programs provide mind-body-spirit mentorship for young women (and sometimes young men). CHIC curriculum builds positive identity, mindfulness, and self-efficacy to increase school engagement. Our curriculum is tailored to be developmentally appropriate at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

WOMEN AT WORK

CHIC Workforce

CHIC workforce development programs provide career planning, readiness, job specific trainings and supports for women who face high barriers to employment. Women at Work emphasizes careers in construction, which are high-earning, high-demand, and low-barrier.

ENTER TO THRIVE

CHIC Reentry

CHIC reentry programs provide mentorship and intensive case management for women and young ladies exiting the prison and juvenile justice systems.

COMMUNITY AT WORK

CHIC Community Development

CHIC community events serve three purposes. They bring families and service providers together to increase access to community resources. They bring families together to facilitate social connections and cohesion. And, they provide CHIC with an opportunity for community outreach; they allow us to identify and recruit new partners, clients, and supporters.

W O M E N + C O N S T R U C T I O N = SUCCESS

We believe all women can embrace who they are, can define their future, and can change the world.
